Nomadic creator and explorer at heart with a love of all things natural
On a mission to change lives by helping creators scale their vision without the hustle culture trap.
Nice to meetcha - Ankit here!
I’m a millennial who witnessed tech take over our lives, but I grew up with Harry Potter, LOTR, and fantasy books in hand, not an iPad (till my teens, anyway).
Born and raised in Chandigarh, India, I was pushed into the engineering mold throughout my studies, but my heart and mind were always elsewhere.
My late grandfather gifted me a DSLR, which changed everything—I found my passion.
In my little world, soundtracked by Green Day, Nickelback, and Avril Lavigne (thanks, Canada), one thing remained constant: my love for stories, travel, and nature.
I wish I could get my groove on like Deadpool’s Bye-Bye-Bye entry here. But I can’t dance around with a dead story character if it doesn’t exist. So here’s what you need to know-
2017
My journey kicked off in 2017 when I dove into data science, analytics, and ML, chasing what was “high-paying” and trendy. But the IT world never felt like home.
With no decent full-time opportunities, trust funds, and paychecks without a fancy degree, I ended up in a full-time IT job, thanks to parental pressure.
That job? One of the lowest points in my life—overqualified, underutilized, and denied any chance to up-skill or grow.
I was trapped in a dead-end role, unable to grow, upskill, or do anything I wanted, chained to a desk by “company policy.”
I knew I was the wrong fit for IT, but with no other choice, I went through the motions.
Then came Upwork and some photography gigs on the side—my first taste of freelancing.
The turning point? Out-earning my full-time, soul-sucking job in just one month on Upwork.
That’s when I knew it was time to spread my wings and soar.
Transformation vs survival phase
In India, you’re taught never to leave one thing for another without a safety net—usually another full-time job or something “stable.”
I felt that pressure too, so I started hustling on Upwork, taking underpaying, low-balled gigs just to get by.
I hustled hard, out-earned, and finally outgrew my full-time job, quitting by October 2019. The relief was sweet—but short-lived.
When COVID hit, I was thrown back into survival mode. No growth, no learning—just scraping by to earn the bare minimum.
Even Upwork didn’t offer much of a lifeline. Sure I was stil making 2x-5x the amount there than in my full time job, but nothing satisfying.
2021
I was running on fumes and had no recovery from my full time job’s burnout when COVID was added to the mix.
Knowing the one thing that always fixed me in the past, I dove back into stories, writing for myself and nature again during Wave 2 here in India.
I spent 2 weeks in Manali, India where I went for recovery from all that I’d gone through, and got some much needed alone time with my camera and hiking in nature. No people anywhere. Trees all around. Heaven on earth.
Yep, you guessed it—I’m an INFP.
Having always fallen in love with nature as part of my childhood traveling around with family – but this cemented it.
2022-2023
I funneled every cent from Upwork into training and online coaching because my first coach had a game-changing impact on my life.
These were my “comfort zone” years—nothing grew, except for one crucial thing: I discovered conversion copywriting, and the importance of online coaching and being a creator.
I found my love for digital nomadism, nature, and the freedom to do what I love, all thanks to another creator.
That’s when it hit me—if a few coaches could change my life, imagine the impact I could make by helping more of them scale.
Enter :
- Joanna Wiebe and Copyhackers, who flipped my worldview on online business and showed me exactly how to help the people I’m meant to help.
- Dan Koe and Saurav Arya who showed me the real creator and nomadic journey ahead.
My turn to slap the remote to change your channel
Now it’s my turn to shake things up in the creative and coaching space by helping coaches and creatives transform their businesses.
I’ve spent years honing my skills and pursuing my passions, and now I’m ready to share them with the world.
It’s about more than just business—it’s about bringing a touch of nature and tranquility into how you grow.
Because when you work on yourself, your business blooms too.
